What Qualifications do I need to apply for a Track Labourer position listed on this website?
To apply for any Track positions, you’ll need to:
- have experience working on track.
- pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
- be able to work as part of a team or unsupervised if required.
What qualifications do I need to apply for the position of Operator?
To apply for Operator positions, you’ll need:
- Current ticket(s) for machines.
- Relevant experience on the machines you are ticketed on.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Resident with permission to work in Australia.
- Have Police Clearance.
- Be able to pass a medical and Drug&Alcohol test.
- Commitment to Safety.
Where is On Track Recruitment Solutions located?
We are located at Suite 4, 235 Main Street, Osborne Park 6017 Western Australia. We offer employment on various rail projects throughout Australia.
What do I need to bring when meeting a Consultant?
We obviously want you to bring yourself, dress for success and ensure you have the following:
- Bank Details
- Tax File Number
- Superannuation Details
- Proof that you can work in Australia – such as Passport, Visa Documents
- Tickets, licenses, qualifications – even if they are not relevant for the position in question, we will take a copy to keep on file
- Resume with your most recent work history
How can I prepare for the interview?
Remember that all interviews are behavioural & competency based. Research the position you have applied for and remember to highlight the skills and qualifications you can bring. This is your opportunity to let us get to know you and decide whether you will be a short-listed candidate.
How long will an interview take?
Usually, the process takes 30 minutes to 1 hour as there will be a registration process along with the interview.
Should I contact you again after my initial contact?
If you have not heard from us for a while do not hesitate to get in touch. Our consultants like to be kept in the loop so if your work situation has changed please let us know. Communication is the number one key to a successful relationship, so keep in touch.
What to expect if you send in your resume or hit the expression of interest button?
We follow a standard registration and induction process for all of our employees. We only ask you to attend an interview if we have read your resume and spoken with you over the phone about a suitable vacancy. We do not believe in wasting your time, however, we are always happy to keep your resume on file and get in contact for future opportunities.
